Vijay Hazare Trophy
The Vijay Hazare Trophy is known as Ranji One-Day Trophy and Officially it is known as the Mastercard Vijay Hazare trophy for sponsorship reasons.
Vijay Hazare Trophy is an annual limited-overs Cricket Competition between various state teams from the Ranji Trophy of India organized by BCCI.
BCCI founded Ranji Trophy in 1935, it is annually organized across various grounds and stadiums in India. The Competition is named after Ranjitsinhji, the 1st Indian who played International Cricket.
Vijay Hazare TrophyStarted in the 2002-03 Season and is named after legendary 20th-century Indian Cricketer Vijay Hazare.
The current Champion Is Himachal Pradesh(2020-21) defeated Tamil Nadu Team to win their First Title.
Tamil Nadu Team is the most successful team in Vijay Hazare Trophy, they won Ranji Trophy Twice and have finished runners-up nine times. The Team is known as Madras Team until the 1970-71 Season before the renaming of Madras State to Tamil Nadu.
